ORDER PRICING POLICY

Maximum number of switch orders per License Term is 10.
Calculation below is used to deduct payment amount on Orders:
On Buy:
The amount you will pay for a license is based on Plan you select and Number of Screen Allowance.
The only discount that can be applied on Buy Orders are %10 Reference Discounts.
Every License have Remaining License Term and Account Balance when they are created.
The amount you paid for the license becomes Account Balance and Remaining License Term is 365 days.
On Switch (Upgrade/Downgrade):
When you are about to switch, a new per day pricing is calculated.
New Per Day = New License Full Price / 365
We also calculate how many days passed since the last order on the license term (This may be switch or original purchase order)
Spent Days = Today - Last Order Date
This is the amount of days you used lygos, since the last order. We than calculate how much spent from account balance since the last order.
Total Spent = Old Per Day * Spent Days
This is the amount spent from account balance since the last order. We use this number to calculate remaining balance that will be left after the switch.
Remaining Balance = Account Balance - Total Spent
We also calculate how many days left on the license term.
Remaining Days = Remaining License Term - Spent Days
And calculate the total amount for the remaining days with the new license pricing.
Order Amount = Remaining Days * New Per Day
So, payment amount for the switch comes to order amount deducted by the remaining balance.
Payment Amount for Switch = Order Amount - Remaining Balance
Since we do not refund on switch orders, negative payment amounts (surplus amount) on downgrades is kept in license balance and can be used in future upgrades or as a discount on renewals.
So after switch:
Remaining License Term = Remaning Days.
Account Balance = Payment Amount for Switch + Remaining Balance
New switch orders will use this new Account Balance and Remaining License Term
On Renewal:
On renewals after license term expiration, these will be reset. However, your remaining balance after the last license term will be applied as a credit Discount.
This Discount is calculated by following formula and cannot be greater than Purchase Amount:
Credit Discount = Account Balance - (Per Day * Remaining License Term)
Summary:
This fair policy designed to give discounts on upgrades based on time left on a license term and amount of license used, also provides discounts for switches if downgrades are used in the current license term and discounts for renewals if downgrades are used in the previous license terms.
