DISPLAY
There are three key elements to Display Module: Screenspace, Layout, Screen
Screen: Screen clients summoned from local and remote lygos instances of this server appear here. You can load these screen clients to Screenspaces.
Screenspace: A virtual screen area you create on this module to represent your videowall or dashboards. You can load screens to this area and organize them in a grid.
Layout: Collages of visualizations on screenspaces. You can create layouts, deploy visualization in them at any position on their grid. You can load, unload and switch layouts.

- Create Screenspaces – Create and manage screenspaces for organizing displays.
- Load Screens – Assign screens from videowalls and dashboards to selected screenspaces.
- Replace & Resize Screens – Adjust screen positions within the grid.
- Create Layouts – Design layouts for screenspaces.
- Switch Layouts – Seamlessly change between different layouts as needed.
- Load Visualizations – Deploy visual content into selected layouts.
- Replace & Resize Visualizations – Adjust visualization placement within the grid on the layout.
Screenspace Controls
- Show ID – Displays screen ID, general information, update status, and live logs as an overlay on the screen clients of this screenspace.
- Show Logo – Shows a customized or default logo as the dashboard/videowall background. You can edit this logo at screenspace config.
- Show Test Pattern – Displays a test pattern to adjust bezel size.
- Calibrate until the white lines in the pattern align correctly between screens.
- Show Control QR – Displays a QR code for remote control as an overlay on the videowall or dashboards.
- On Mobile Phones – Redirects to a website for controlling presentations and using the device as an air mouse to point and draw on the dashboard or videowall.
- On Tablet Clients – Connects and Opens the Control Client on the Tablet for this Screenspace only.
- Zoom In/Out – Adjusts the zoom level of the screenspace grid area (does not affect deployed screens).
- Power Options: Relaunch,Wake, Reboot or Shutdown computers of screen nodes of the dashboards or videowall.
- Relaunch Screens – Restarts the Lygos app on all computers with an active screen window of the selected screenspace.
- Does not require extra setup
- The relaunch preserves window locations.
- Wake Screens – Powers on computers with an active screen window in the selected screenspace.
- Requires Network Wake On LAN to be enabled in the BIOS.
- Only works for computers on the same local network.
- Auto-Launch has to be enabled on the lygos launcher of these devices for them to start lygos after waking up.
- Client Window locations are preserved.
- Reboot Screens – Restarts all computers in the selected screenspace.
- Does not require extra setup on computer settings
- Client Window locations are preserved.
- Auto-Launch has to be enabled on the lygos launcher of these devices for them to start lygos after restarting OS.
- Turn Off Screens – Shuts down all computers in the selected screenspace.
- Requires Network Wake On LAN to be enabled in the BIOS for Waking Up Later.
- Client Window locations are preserved.
- Auto-Launch has to be enabled on the lygos launcher of these devices for them to start lygos after waking up.
Layout Controls
- Show ID – Displays screen ID, general information, update status, and live logs as an overlay on the screen clients of this screenspace.
- Show Logo – Shows a customized or default logo as the dashboard/videowall background. You can edit this logo at screenspace config.
- Show Labels – Displays visualization names, descriptions, and states as labels. Several visualizations and media can display another label window for visualization state. For example, video displaying current time and duration, or document displaying page number. These visualization allow turning off state label separately from their configuration.
- Zoom In/Out – Adjusts the zoom level of the grid area (does not affect deployed screens).
- Pointer/Drawing – Allows users to use a mouse or touchscreen to point and draw on the screenspace.
- Once enabled, hovering over the grid are displays a pointer at the exact location on the screens of the videowall/dashboards.
- Users can select sıze and color of pointer.
- Multiple users can point and draw simultaneously from different clients.
- Clear Drawing – Removes all drawings from the layout.
- Swap Locations – Swap location of two visualizations on the layout
- Reset Controls – Reverts temporary changes made via the Control UI.
