Cast

Cast enables Lygos users to share their screens live with other users on the same server.

🔗 Connection Setup

  • All users must be connected to the same server.
  • To connect:
    • One user starts the server in Local Mode.
    • Other users join in Remote Mode, entering the server user's IP address and password.

📡 How to Start Casting

  1. When you start a screen cast, your computer is added to the Castable Devices list in Lygos.
  2. As the cast creator, click on your created cast to view your screen in the editor.
  3. Select a screen/tab to cast from the available sources.
    • If your tab is not listed or a new tab was opened, click Refresh Sources.
  4. Other users will see your cast listed under Screen Casting.
    • They can click on it to view your live screen.

🧹 Managing Casts

  • To remove a cast, go to the Screen Casting list, click Edit Visualization, and then click Delete.
